Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager at Petro Facial Plastic Surgery will oversee all
clinical operations, ensuring excellence in patient care, staff
management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has over
10 years of nursing experience, an active RN license, and expertise
in achieving and maintaining AAAHC accreditation (or similar
accreditation). This role is pivotal in driving quality
improvement, fostering a collaborative team environment, and
ensuring a seamless patient experience. Key
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff Management
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including RNs and clinical
personnel.
- Manage scheduling, onboarding, performance evaluations, and
professional development.
- Foster a supportive and cohesive work environment that
prioritizes patient care.Clinical Operations
- Oversee operating room and clinical workflow, ensuring
preparedness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and team
members to uphold safety protocols.
- Implement and monitor surgical safety checklists and
standardized procedures.Accreditation & Compliance
- Lead efforts to achieve and maintain AAAHC accreditation.
- Develop, update, and enforce policies for patient safety,
infection control, and compliance.
- Conduct internal audits, address deficiencies, and implement
corrective actions.Medication & Inventory Management
- Oversee the safe handling, storage, and disposal of
medications, including controlled substances.
- Conduct regular medication audits and ensure compliance with
all regulations.
- Manage clinical inventory to maintain optimal stock levels
without waste.Quality Assurance
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, analyze patient outcomes,
and implement process enhancements.
- Coordinate and document staff meetings to review safety,
compliance, and workflow updates.Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical staff,
administrative personnel, and external stakeholders.
- Promote clear communication, resolve conflicts, and encourage a
culture of transparency.
QualificationsEducation & Licensure
- Active RN license in Alabama (required).
- BSN or MSN preferred.Experience
- 10+ years of clinical nursing experience, with surgical or
perioperative expertise preferred.
- Proven leadership in roles such as charge nurse or nurse
manager.
- Demonstrated success in AAAHC accreditation or similar
accreditation body and compliance initiatives.Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of surgical protocols and regulatory
standards.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation best
practices.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership
skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage complex
situations.Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand and move within clinical areas for extended
periods.
- Exposure to medical environments, requiring adherence to safety
protocols and use of PPE.
Compensation details: 40-60 Hourly Wage
