Summary HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC
Gastroenterologist to help grow upon our already established GI
team in Decatur, Illinois. Enjoy suburban living with easy access

providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern
Illinois inclusive of a robust primary care referral base

Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week 7 days per
month of call & inpatient rounds while on call Minimal after hours
clinic call EPIC EMR Dedicated support staff Robotics available for
surgical cases Position Requirements: Unrestricted Illinois license
prior to start Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Gastroenterology M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
Qualifications Education Clinical doctorate is required Experience
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents,
adults and geriatric patients is required Certifications, Licenses
and RegistrationsLicensed physician in the state of practice is
required Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Maintain a Controlled
Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to
their specialty Must have successfully completed, or in the process
of completing, an accredited residency program Must be board
certified or board eligible Physical Requirements: Administrative
