Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist to provide
peer-based recovery support services in a fully remote, full-time
capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient engagement and support recovery management
processes
Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate
care transitions
Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members to
report on patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Peer certification in state of residence, active and in good
standing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support
At least 2 years of recovery from substance use and/or mental
health disorders
Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support
Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
Experience navigating opioid use disorder treatment resources
preferred
