Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder II responsible for accurate
code assignment of medical diagnoses and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assign accurate codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency
service diagnoses and procedures
Utilize classification systems including ICD-10, CPT, and ICD-10
PCS in accordance with official coding guidelines
Ensure compliance with Health Information Management Department
policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
At least two years of coding experience
Coding credential from AHIMA and/or AAPC
Knowledge of official coding guidelines from relevant
associations
Experience with health information management practices
