AESC is looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to our team in
Smyrna, TN.Full-TimeOn-siteAbout AESC US LLC AESC is a global

2012, produces batteries for Nissan. The Kentucky gigafactory in
Bowling Green will supply Mercedes-Benz with high-performance
battery cell modules. The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence
will supply technology-leading battery cells for new electric
models produced in BMW Group's Spartanburg plant. AESC is committed

creating jobs, and supporting local charities. About the RoleLeads
a group of multi-craft, skilled maintenance technicians. Maintains
and repairs production equipment in the assigned area. Plans and
schedules maintenance work related to corrective, maintenance,
preventative maintenance, work order requests, equipment
installation and project related work. Facilitates all work group
activities to meet established quality standards and the objectives
of Safety, Cost and Delivery. Interfaces with section manager to
coordinate daily and weekly activities and set priorities.
Contributes to building brand identity and achieving profitable
growth.
What You Will Do Maintains a maintenance log of preventative and
corrective maintenance work orders. Assigns jobs and schedules work
as required to maintain a high level of completion of preventative
and corrective maintenance.Orders materials required to accomplish
repairs to machinery. Reviews monthly non-production stores
purchases tagged equipment repair items, and tracks scrap
costs.Addresses long and short-term quality concerns and provides
feedback to production and engineering and quality control. Ensures
technicians operate in a safe and efficient manner and that all
safety guidelines and rules are followed. Facilitates
implementation of action to improve safety performance. Proactive
in identifying and addressing safety concerns before an incident
occurs.Tracks and plans corrective action on equipment downtime
issues. Determines methods to meet and improve equipment up-time
goals.Generates weekly KPI report when needed and prepare OPL's and
SOS'sSchedules technicians for technical and powered equipment
training. Provides IATF16949 international manufacturing quality
standards and ISO140001 environmental standards training. Maintains
all related training documentation.Helps in planning and
installation of new equipment, working with engineering and outside
vendors. Helps to set up parts associated with the new equipment.
Manages the implementation of equipment or engineering changes to
enhance the performance, reliability and predictability of
equipment or processes. This includes management of hardware,
software and documentation of changes as required to complete the
modifications. -Oversees and develops mechanical and electrical
drawings, computer aided design (CAD) updates and other technical
documentation.Tracks and maintains employee records related to
attendance, performance, overtime, safety, mobile equipment
licensing and training. Keeps technicians updated on all policies
and procedures applicable to them.Supports quality investigation
when needed.Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and
VDA 6.3 quality standards.Understands and follows all standards of
ISO14001 environmental standards.What You NeedA minimum of 3 years
of experience leading maintenance professionals is required. This
includes training new employees, assigning work, and checking the
timeliness and quality of work. May have provided input into
performance reviews. Most time in the work leader role would have
been spent performing work like that performed by the people whose
activities the position coordinates.Experience in facilitating
training.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and
communicate data.Initiative and drive to continuously improve
processes and systems.Strong problem-solving skills.Fundamental
understanding of industrial multi-craft maintenance. Good
electrical and mechanical knowledge. General knowledge of automated
systems. Knowledge requirements for equipment maintenance and
calibration. Prefer candidates with knowledge of Omron PLC
programming, robotics, fluid power control and mechanical
fundamentals.Background in supporting a highly technical
automotive-related manufacturing environment is highly desired.
What is "Nice to Have"?At least an associate degree in a related
field is required. Will consider High School Diploma or GED with
equivalent experience, seminars, and college level technical
courses completed.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
and other PC applications to produce non-standard, creative
products. MP2 or other maintenance software experience is highly
